#YOLO

The term YOLO is the abbreviation for You Only Live Once. It stands for a lifestyle that is fast and dangerous. The term is often used on twitter tumblr or other micro blogs. Carpe diem was yesterday and YOLO is today. The Motto opens a lot of questions for those who never heard of that.

The first time I heard about YOLO was probably one year ago. I was in a bar when some jail-bates walked in and ordered spiritous alcohol. They were completely drunk and were screaming around. A random women told em to stop and leave the bar but the girl went ridicules and shouted YOLO and took a shot of tequila.
After that happened I realized that there was a new movement called the YOLO-HYPE. I don't know exactly if it is called like that but I do.
In my clique i saw that everyone was going nuts after they heard what YOLO is. I was excited to see what happens after all that. My friends didn't act like total retards because they stay true to their roots and thats what makes the difference. Some people are just searching for an excuse to freak out and "have fun"

My personal opinion is, that YOLO has nothing to do with the quote "carpe diem". The YOLO lifestyle often leads to dangerous moments. I rather die because I'm old than dying because of drink and drive or with closed eyes.
